SOS are involved in the various projects listed below. ILA Scotland - a Scottish Government scheme that helps you pay for learning new skills with an individual learning account from ILA Scotland. ESOL & HAIL project Helping Adults in Literacy - funded by HALG RAPS Remote Assessment Project for Scotland - RAPS is a project, funded partly by the Big Lottery Fund and learndirect scotland, and run by AbilityNet Scotland. It commenced in December 2005 and will run for 3 years. The project aims to provide better access to computers for people with a range of difficulties and by establishing remote assessment capability in centres across every region in Scotland we aim to increase the number of individuals who can benefit from the use of ICT. BBC Highland Lives - Launched by BBC Scotland in conjunction with Highland 2007 & Learndirect Scotland, Highland Lives uses new technology to help people from all walks of life to tell their own, personal tales in a new way.
