BADENOCH & STRATHSPEY INTO LEARNING (BASIL+) SOS is part of the Badenoch & Strathspey Into Learning+ (BASIL+) Group. The objectives of the group are: - "To advance the education and promote the benefit of adults and young persons in the Badenoch & Strathspey area without discrimination by associating with the local authorities, voluntary groups and inhabitants in a common effort to provide facilities/programmes or assist in the provision of facilities/programmes in the interest of educational and social welfare for employment, recreation and leisure time occupation with the object of improving the conditions of life/educational attainment for the said people". Badenoch Learning Centre in Kingussie, Badaguish Outdoor Centre and AALP Learning Centre in Aviemore are also part of the BASIL+ Network. For
